Perforated reflective aluminum facings are bonded to both sides of a fiberglass core. AttiicELEVATE installs as a supplemental layer, with existing attic insulation remaining in place.

Reflective-surface performance does not mean whole-home heat transfer or energy use is reduced by 97%. Tested system R-values depend on the laboratory assembly, heat-flow direction and required air spaces. They should not be added directly to existing insulation R-values unless the installed assembly matches the tested configuration.
